Pod Mini Software is not compatible with other models of iPod, including original scroll wheel and touch wheel iPods and iPods with a dock connector.
The iPod mini 1.0 updater will not update or restore other models of iPod.
NOTE: Some versions of iTunes may mistakenly offer to update your other iPod with iPod mini software. If this happens, refuse the update and upgrade your iTunes to the latest version.
