Pillowtalk-Sky unique appearance theme with its own installation and de-installation (Aqua restore) packages, Pillowtalk-Sky was designed for system-wide theme replacement to be used independently of other theming software products. It's a system appearance overhaul for the rest of us.
What's New
Version 3.1:
Is compatible with Intel and PowerPC models running Tiger (Mac OS X 10.4) ONLY.
Requirements
PPC / Intel, Mac OS X 10.4 or later
Be the first to recommend a similar software title.
I don't like the appearance of the theme much, but I absolutely endorse the standalone installer. I read the developer's comment about wanting to keep theming alive, and think that's very much to be commended.
Have you given any more thought to a step-by-step tutorial for the creation of a standalone theme installer pkg for OS 10.4?
Congrats on the release.

I'll note rate it, cause i don't like it, BUT, i'm totally agree with you about the standalone package. You give freely that to us, so, why should I buy a shareware to benefit about your hard work ?
Yes you worked hard. My first theme is not great to, so you'll never see it :)
It's a good start, go on and make another one, which will be better :)

Sad indeed... I always get excited when some industrious soul takes the time to make a theme... but this was a waste of time for this poor person.
You know, sometimes I look at it and think the same thing, especially after looking at the work of some of the theme design wizards. But again, sometimes I look and think, "That's not so bad."

Very unprofessional looks, looks like some photoshop beginner-theme
Very nice looking theme. I have had issues with other 3rd party theme applications, so was a little hesitant to try this one. Windowing is fast, and overall performance seems undiminished. Thanks for the (so far) bug free theme!
A problem has been identified with the Pillowtalk-Sky version 2.2 theme installer in which the invisible symbolic link named "tmp" in the main directory of the startup disk is replaced by a folder of the same name. If you have installed Pillowtalk-Sky version 2.2 on your Panther (Mac OS X 10.3) system, you should follow the following steps to fix the problem.
1. Download, expand, and run this Applescript application to temporarily enable visibility of normally invisible items.
If you already have it installed, you may also use Tinkertool to make normally hidded Finder items visible.
2. Restart your computer, then locate the item named "tmp" in the main window of your startup disk and double-click it. If the window that opens contains only a few files (less than 10) then your system hasn't been affected by this problem and you can skip to step 5. However, if the window contains a large number of files (over 50) many of which are icon files (.icns) and tiff files (.tif or .tiff) you should continue with the next step.
3. Drag the item named "tmp" from the main window of your startup disk to the trash and IMMEDIATELY open the Disk Utility application in the Utilities folder of the Applications folder.
4. With the repair tab selected in the Disk Utility window, select your startup disk in the left part of the window and click "Repair Permissions". Allow the process to complete then run the Toggle_Finder_Visibility application again to restore Finder items to their normal visibility.
5. To safely install or remove the Pillowtalk-Sky theme, download version 2.3 from here:
and use the install or remove package files included with the new version. The packages with the new version work with installation/restoration whether or not the old versions have been used.
I apologize for the inconvenience, and hope you continue to enjoy the Pillowtalk-Sky theme on your Mac OS X 10.3 system.
Sincerely,
Laine Lee

Why is your theme not a .guikit file like most other themes so that it can be safely installed by ShapeShifter? I downloaded Pillowtalk yesterday but when I saw that it's a standalone installation that alters system files (unlike ShapeShifter), I had to trash it rather than run it.

Excellent looking theme. It would be nice if this was plugin-able so other themes could be written/interchanged. Not sure if this is already in mind, but just wanted to say good job.
