But how do I get the .aiff files into Garage Band?
I can't find where in the application or system they go? There are no instructions with the download.
Can anyone help?
Garage Band has turned me, and my kids into composers overnight- so much fun!

Re: Where to put .aiff files

You need to go into library/application support/garageband/apple loops/apple loops for garageband

You just have to take the map with the loops and drag it into the loopsbrowser (this is the part in garageband where the loops are defined. It's just that simple. The programm will automaticly import the loops.

Also, Mac has released an Update for GarageBand. It updates it to v1.1. this allows you to import ur own mp3s and other loops as well.
I definitely suggest you download it.
