Economix is a personal finance management application inspired by the Gestion Hypercard Pile written a few years ago. It is created with two things in mind: to know the progressive balance of the account, and to define my own categories of expenditures and being able to enter them per month.
What's New
Version 3.2.4:
In the dialogue statistics, the day is now proposed based on the month and year, thus avoiding errors in calculations.
When entering a new operation, Economix control the coherence of the day depending on the month.
An error was not handled in a double-click on the "Other Codes" and "Total" in the statistics. Bug reported by Brice.
Added calculation of debit and credit over one year budget window. Proposal for J. Costenoble.
The title of the column "Balance" to "Progressive Balance."

RORO01 did start off with ''if you are not happy with this application'' try this, and not say '' this app is a waste of time, don't bother, this xx is way better.
I often, but not always include ''in my opinion, imo'' in my comments just for those whom might mistakenly take my word as the Gospel, even though I believe it shouldn't be necessary imo.
Personally, I thought RORO01's contribution was ok and have enough faith in MU members to take their comment onboard without being scared away.
If you are not happy with this application download Buddi which is the best free personal finance application. Go to: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/22468/buddi
No offense, but I think it would better all MU members if your opinion was a bit more subjective. To you Buddi is best, I , personally despise the program. So obviously you can't just say Buddi is BEST. You can say in my opinion it's best but, it's not the best by a long shot. Runs like a one-legged donkey, my opinion on the soft. Funny how opinions differ.
It is perfectly okay to suggest an alternative program you think is as good or better -- MacUpdate even provides a place above to do exactly this -- but I think it's rather poor taste to come here for the sole purpose of trashing this FREE app to promote another app (whether its free or not) without providing even the slightest reasons why you like the one over the other or giving us any insight into why WE might like it better.

It works. Nice simple interface. Enough easy to learn. Nothing to envy to other apps. And it's free.
