getTunes is a Mac version of myTunes, a small application that allows users to download music from local Rendezvous-shared music libraries (instead of streaming the songs). Don't steal music.

What's New

Version 2.3.6:

Moved to sourceforge
Fixed issue where getTunes would disconnect after downloading a couple of songs.
The user preferences are now read. Doh!

Requirements

PPC
Mac OS X 10.2 or later.
iTunes 4.5. (the necessary BSD subsystem is installed by default when you install OS X)

Does not work at all. Tired of entering my password even after following "NetInfo Manager" steps.

does not work at all, just continues to ask for admin password every minute or so and does nothing, no idea how it even works.

Doesn't work for me. Just keeps asking for my password, then freezes up and I have to force quit to make it stop.

It only works for iTunes 4. You've probably moved on to version 6 like me.

This is agreat program it helps me to get songs from my friends commputers over airport without having to goto the actual files

since yesterday I have iTunes 4.8. My version of getTunes is not working anymore.

When do you release a new version of getTunes for iTunes 4.8.

anyone know how to get this to work in iTunes 4.7.1 and OS X 10.3.8? I just updated my software and now my favorite app doesn't work! Help!

it works fine for me. I have 4.7.1 and the latest OS X (whatever that may be). Try deleting the old app and reinstalling this one.

Try OurTunes. Works fine for me in iTunes 4.7. I'm holding off upgrading to 4.7.1.

you're running OS X, right?

the YOU are the admin.

use YOUR password that you would use when you logoff and logon to OS X.

I've tried my admin password, but it still won't work. I've tried all my passwords. Whats more, GetTunes used to work on my machine but will not now.
