Webdy is a GPL program that puts a web page on your desktop. Transparency and the default home page can be set on the Preferences window. The Webdy icon comes from Neil Dixon (nellus(at)mac.com). I can only provide minimal support, use the source code included in the download. Tested on Mac OS X 10.3.2 and Xcode 1.1
Requirements
PPC, Mac OS X 10.3 or later.

Another one that hides when you press F11. Why? This is almost as useless as webdesk.

Just wondering: Why the heck would anyone want a web page as a desktop picture?

The earlier version didn't work at all, and I only
noticed a small window with this one. I used Xcode from the Developer tools and built it from source code. Then I had the name in the taskbar and opened preferences. you can adjust the transparency, screen position, and size of the window from there. Also choose your url, from the same preferences window.

Simply does not work.....in any way!
Don't waste your time downloading as there are a few apps out there that do the job properly.

Will not launch on my machine. Console log gives me errors saying it is trying to open files from the users folder, but it appears to be specified to the author's user folder, rather than being dynamic to the systems or local user's.
