Now you can be creative on other devices and instantly incorporate what you create into Photoshop. You must install the 12.0.4 update to activate a remote connection between Photoshop CS5 and any apps that Adobe or third-party developers create to interact with Photoshop. For example, Photoshop CS5 must be updated to 12.0.4 to interact with three new iPad apps that Adobe has designed to work with it - Adobe Nav, Adobe Color Lava, and Adobe Eazel. Available on the App Store.
The 12.0.4 update also fixes liquify performance, type related crashes, and other top customer issues. The most significant fixes include the following:

Free software like GIMP don't live up to the match especially with it running X11.
CS5 with content aware made my life even easier as I used to have to use the healing brush.
It's a shame to see that Photoshop didn't really get updated with CS5.5 but I have high hopes for CS6!

Works slightly more logically with "Spaces", but has generally caused quirks right round the system. Loads quicker but causes unusual bursts of CPU activity, and some operations (Noise reduction is one that comes to mind) work more slowly. In fact, I'm getting longer pauses and less snappy reaction in many places. Long thought the interface could use some reworking.
For the first time ever, in the "Save for Web" preview/optimization screen I see tearing when dragging the image around. Tried all 3 OpenGL settings, of which "Normal" gave the best results, but even with "Vertical Sync" on, tearing is readily visible as if it doesn't apply there. This is _with_ the best non-ridiculously priced graphics card for my Mac Pro 1,1: the NVidia 8800 GT.
When some features became "Optional Installs" under CS4 I was perplexed and annoyed. Now, of course, those are mostly unusable except in 32bit mode.
I'm still in early exploration stage. Perhaps I'll write a real review once everything shakes out.
For now, my reaction is "meh". Same for Adobe's general direction over the past several years, prior to which I thought they were gods.

Adobe has a bullseye painted on their back. The only thing that will save them is a *massive* restructuring and restaffing on the development side. Once Adobe gets back to adhering to the Apple Software Delivery guidelines, they might just start to turn that huge ship so it's heading in the right direction again.
Someone at Adobe has been sleeping at the wheel. Too many renegades in the firm tearing things apart. The whole "one code set across platforms" idea was a very bad idea. Adobe are starting to realize it.
Maybe CS6 will be written properly...with resources put into *correct* locations...with *proper* Apple pkg/mpkg installers...maybe not...

It's an old story I know... But Adobe is still taking the piss
that a product ( PS Upgrade ) sells for $199 US dollars
( Which is £130 UK Pounds )
sells in the UK for £189 pounds ( $288 US Dollars )
I know all the stuff about writing languages conversions
and different taxes etc, etc...
But when it comes down to it - it just stinks.
