myVCR is the only video capture program that I have found that works with my old PowerR Director's Cut analog to digital converter and my 800MHz eMac running 10.4.10. I tried Vidi, Toast, and iMovie. They all generated distorted audio in the resulting Quicktime movie caused by a design flaw in the PowerR converter. While the audio was not distorted using Bear's Hand, it was time shifted for some unknown reason (maybe due to my slow eMac).

A must for OSX Miro DC users!
If it weren't for these guys I had thrashed my MiroMotion card; in OSX it's hard to record long pieces of video with the DC30(+) and keeping it all lipsync. This little app however does the the trick.
A con point is limited features: the addition of stopmotion recording options in a future version would be cool.

mVCR is a good little program that allows you record amazing sound and video from VCR. The only problem is the small size of the video screen - make it bigger and you have a winner.
