Hundreds of phrases, lip-synched animation of several Mooses and a few other characters.

For the most part, it's quite annoying. The painted moose with the voice "Bruce" isn't so bad.

Sometimes it's funny.

Though I might agree that no mac is complete without it. After all, imagine being in a coffee shop and doing work on your laptop *without* a moose talking to you between switching application priority.

Besides.. the painted moose is good art. And the mute button always works, no?

Worked as adverstised without any glitches at all on my PowerBook running 10.4.5... I'm guessing you have latent/hidden issues on your Mac that kept this from running.

Could you provide more info? What Mac OS version is this on, what machine? Could you send me the crash log at ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Moose.crash.log? If you launch the Moose a second time after the crash it should offer to send the log to me. Does that work, or does it crash before that? I'd be very interested in tracking down the source of this crash if you get in touch with me.

I just received a crash log. Not sure whether it came from you or someone else, but please get in touch with me so I can verify the fix I've developed works for you. It'd also be helpful if you could send along your preferences file (~/Library/Preferences/com.ulikusterer.cocoamoose.plist).

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh! Its back! Okay, I made a lot people mad when this application when it first hit the Mac scene through pranks and fun (The best being a call to a friend stating that it was a digital IRS message and he was being auditing. Remember, this program came out a long time ago. Hmmm...come to think about it he's no longer my friend). I guess I'll do it again. Sure is fun to reminisce.
