It has a clean OOP syntax, probably the best of all.
It has medium type checking, slightly less forgiving than PHP.
has a built-in abstracted native and ODBC database API.
It has a built-in application and persistent scope which rivals PHP6 + APC cache. This gives it a dramatic performance advantage.

Yeah yeah... bla bla bla... we get it... you're a PHP fan. Who cares?
If we all thought like you we may as well be saying "Who needs this PHP thing when we have Perl?" Just cause PHP gets you all jollied up doesn't mean everyone else has to use it.
Like someone else, I found it totally amusing that you think this to be a rediculous idea byt Python & Ruby, etc... are totally acceptable. I guess a language is only useful once the geek culture at large has accepted it? I wont use this cause I have no need of another language right now (plus it has a dumb name to be honest), but If someone else enjoys playing with it & learning it, great. God bless em for it & move on.

PHP is installed by default in Mac OS X (a two line edit to turn on in the client version, easily configurable on Mac OS X Server). It is the most prevalent web scripting language (on more web servers than all the Windows IIS servers out there). It also runs on nearly every web server and nearly every operating system.
Plus, it's installed by all the cheapest hosting sites and has far better database integration.
And if you don't like PHP's quirks there is always Python, Ruby and Perl.
Since I won't use this product, I won't rate it.
