Does not work properly under Panther! I get no textures, no sky, blocky graphics at best, looks like an Atari 800 game. I have never seen an "icon" thus, i cannot advance.
Aspyr tech support casually tells me to get the "update" which won't even launch. I thought something was wrong with me till i found these boards.
This 1.0.1 "Update" was posted on 10/27/03 - i am sorry, but isn't that a YEAR AGO!

Every once in a while, a program comes out that should have it's own category on Macupdate. This is one of those - it crashes on launch 100% of the time. The update solves nothing. I wish I had taken the money I spent on this and lit it with a match - at least I would have been warmer for a few minutes.

OK, I figured out a way to stop the game from crashing when opening saved games. Set your monitor to thousands of colors before launching this app! That fixed it for me. I hope this helps others.

This update does't do anything. This game needs bugs fixed badly. I am getting further along in the game. The problem is it freezes up when I load any new saved games. I have to go back to old saves (Find one that works) and start over. I am using a Dual 1.25 Power Mac G4 FW800.

Works fine on imac G4 15". A slows during play here and there, but nothing to take away from gameplay. Fun game for those who surf. Probably not too fun for others.

The update doesn't even launch on a PB 800, nothing happens when I double click on the icon. Version 1.0 just has all white blocks and no textures. This is just isn't ready.

This game doesn't work. Ubelievable that it could be released in this capacity. Any body else get the white graphics to go away? It crashes constantly on a g4 1ghz 768, makes no sense.

The game does not work on a G5 1.8 running panther. The update fixes the white area where you chose a surfer and board, but that's it. The game crashes in the wave pool. Pretty sad game.
