a lot of other apps ive used throw in a lot of stuff i dont need. this one is pretty simple but still has what i want. and its got an built-in image mapper, which is nice but it only lets me map rectangles for some reason. i wish it would have tabs so i could have multiple files open at the same time and like the other person said, more syntax coloring. also whenever i close the program it says it unexpectedly quit but im already done using it so its ok. those updates would be nice! but judging by the release date of 2003 i dont think its going anywhere...

Good app, works well, but I'll stick with Taco for two reasons:

1. "Syntax coloring" shouldn't mean that tags are a different color from text, as they are in this app, but rather that different types of tags (for tables, lists, format, etc.) are different colors.

2. While WebCode does include a "Compress HTML" feature (which Taco lacks!), there is no "Organize" feature, forcing you to wade through undifferentiated blocks of code.

But if/when these two issues are resolved, I'll switch.
