HELP! Can some one tell me how to use mac the ripper and YuBurner to create back ups of my DVD's? I used mac the ripper and then YuBurner but it wouldn't play. Please help! thanks
"LiquidCD" can burn Video_TS folder on DVD which you can watch with your DVD player.
"Burn" can burn mpg files onto DVD which you can watch with your DVD player.

I've been using YuBurner for some time, and encountered a problem, which reoccurs (on Panther - 10.3.9).
After burning one DVD (ISO/Joliet), I eject the DVD and re-insert it. It does not show up. I now try burning another (with new contents) and YuBurner says "Burn finished" and burned a nice empty DVD.
I reset my Mac, and insert the first DVD, this shows up alright, all the files are there. The second DVD is still empty and cannot be burned onto again.
I think the software needs an update, and I'd also like people to know that it's probably a good idea to reset the computer after using YuBurner, in case you want to read the DVD just burned or burn another DVD...

Worryingly easy to use! I'm still at a loss as to why Apple decided it should be impossible to make ISO9660 discs...
Features I'd love to see, but not holding my breath for:
- Mac/PC hybrid data CD & DVD
- VideoCD
Probably not appropriate to a stripped-down tool like this.

Works for me. Burned an ISO 9660 CD and then a CD-RW and both read fine on a Mac and a PC. Next I'll try Joliet format. No way to try DVD burning as I don't have a SuperDrive.
Interface is a little klunky and it has typos, but you can't beat the price. There's no other freeware CD burner I've tried that can handle ISO 9660 and Joliet formats.
