So I install this, and it never works right. First off: don't make "Full Screen" and "Always on Top" default settings. That's annoying and unnecessary. If I want to play anything full-screen, it's usually already set up to run fine on QuickTime or DVD Player. I don't want another one hijacking that usage. Un-check those options for default.
Second, it just doesn't work. Oh, it plays the video file fine...until I try to quit playing. Then it locks up and goes into permanent beach-ball mode until I finally have to Force Quit it. Three different times, I tried to play a movie and got a reasonably reliable play--it even had those controls I wanted for some AVI files in the first place. But ultimately, I can't trust a program that never shuts itself down and has to be Force Quit every single time. I don't know if this is an issue with the program every time or just because it's poorly written for a Tiger-operating system, but the result is the same: I trashed it.

also quite buggy under Tiger & hard to quit
no real point to this software really as the MPlayer does it all anyway

would be nice if it actually showed up in the "Open with..." contextual menu when opening a file.

Every time a new version shows up, i give it a try. Never has been useful as it's main purpose seems to be crashing.
