Just now downloaded it and it launched fine on my MacBook Pro running OS X 10.4.10... have you used this software before? The developer states: "If you have used previous versions, please remove com.soporific.Ticker.plist before running"
After upgrading from 3.0 to 3.1 any actions (updating, column sorting, etc.) cause immediate crash on iMac G5 (PPC). Removing preferences "fixes" the problem, but would require (painfully) reentering all data. Reverting to 3.0 with its preferences.
A Universal Binary version at last! Works great. A long-standing bug is still present: the Volume for indexes is still often a bogus negative number; try, e.g., Wilshire 5000 (^DWCF), which shows a volume of -2,147,483,6... (too wide to fit) as of 4:30pm Dec. 12, 2006. Similarly, at the same date/time, Vanguarg S&P500 (VFINX) showed a volume of -1.

the developer's dot mac page is offline or taken down all together. i wish there was a place to get this app since it's my favorite way of tracking my stocks by far.

Great program but you have to do repetitive entries if you by more of the same stock. EX: If you buy 5 shares of Apple and 5 more shares later, you have to track two separate Apple stocks; unless there is something I don't know.
