I have the weirdest problem. I think this software might not be compatible with 10.6. I get glitches in my recording starting around the 10 minute mark. If I record the same source using Audacity there are no glitches. I had used Sound Recorder successfully in the past.
Audio Recorder is no longer free. Its $20.
If you are not happy with this application try Audio Recorder. It's freeware and I'm very happy using it.
Lots of echo and noise when recording using internal mic on Powerbook G4. Isn't there an alternative to this noisy, clutzy application?
i dont think thats the app - the mic on the powerbook G4 is right next to the speaker - instant feedback. Make sure u are not having the recorded sound playing back through the speakers as it is being recorded.
When I record my voice on my powerbook G4, the result ends up with my voice echoing.
Works, but GUI could be better (buttons to start/stop recording, default file location, etc).
However, while recording the output file is 2GB! This is crazy.
No it's not. Someone who records audio with less than two gig free, however...
pretty good, AUDIO IN is better imo
Outstanding and free.
Simple and easy to use. Does exactly what it says it does. And it's free.
