Want your external IP address? Try http://www.myipaddress.com. Handy little app otherwise.

it shows only the local IP rather than the external IP which is what most people would want it to display.

I downloaded the OS X version and it works fine. Good little utility when using Terminal.app and you need to know your IP address.
