What's New
Version 1.0.20091004:
New version build from source 4 October 2009, but without the "SDL audio patch" change that was applied 19 February 2009. The "SDL audio patch" caused poor sound performance, apparent in all BasiliskII for MacOSX builds in the past months.
App is pretty Good,
Decent speed, Flexable RAM, I just can't hear the Games, can't play Music,

It works almost great, the thing is that in tiger (10.4.2 ) , when I try to add another volume to mount, the application closes unexpectedly. I hope this is fixed soon

i also had the mouse issue, and the keyboard doesn't work either. this only happens in full screen mode - windowed mode works okay, albeit slow. other than that, a great emulator!
i like it. it emulates 68k like i had it connected directly to my monitor. and i like being able to start it off with many OSes. But your emulator could realy use sound. That is the only flaw. otherwise Pretty good.

Its really nice. After making the image and starting up from the cd, you can even 'install' OS7/8 to free up the cd-rom drive for use with it.
Only setback ive encountered besides the sound is it wanting ram from a graphics card which had prevented some applications running under it.
This version is compiled as a Universal Binary, but on my Intel iMac it quits suddenly and unceremoniously part way through booting from my OS 8 CD. I have tried several different ROM files from Performas and Quadras, and consistently get the same poor results. Once-upon-a-time I had a version of Basilisk running on an old PowerPC machine. It was pretty crashy, but at least it ran a bit.

The info here is a bit old. Newer versions solve some of the problems mentioned in these comments.

But I loved it
If enough people like it, maybe I can eventually convince the main authors to include my sound support code.
