"A Missing iPod Panel" enables you to do the following tasks with your iPod:

Reveal the on an iPod playlist selected song in a standard Finder window. So you can drag and drop the mp3 file or do something else with it.
Copy the MP3's of one or more in iTunes selected iPod tracks into a folder of your choice on your harddrive.
Clone a complete playlist with all tracks and files to your harddrive and into iTunes
Burn an audio CD from a playlist directly out of your iPod with Roxio Toast Titanium

What's New

Version 0.2 adds the following:

Program quits if no iPod is connected or the iPod is not in firewire mode
German localization

Requirements
PPC, Mac OS X 10.2 or later, iTunes 3.x or 4.x, iPod Firmware 1.3 or later, Roxio Toast Titanium (only for the burn audio CD feature).

didnae work for me either. i just kept getting the following applescript error:

Good and simple! The German does not make it much more difficult to use. This seems a very efficient way to manage working with files on the iPod using the iTunes window to select and the Missing Panel to copy files or clone playlists. Should be useful to all iPod owners.

If I understood German, this would be a wonderful application. However, I don't, so I am unable to use it.

Not a bad program. Does exactly what it says it does. Itunes/Ipod should automatically come with this; it truly is the "missing panel."
