Simple and fun.
The planet is about 60% Earth's gravity so the tanks are fun to bop around in.
I'm running it on Snow Leopard with no problem.
FYI: Garage Games no longer owns the game, it's on Shockwave for $7.
ThinkTanks is a straightforward game with no gimmicks, no tricks, no cheats, well designed graphics and a high level of player involvement.
Inside this less than twenty dollar application there are four different, but similar, games that, combined with two overlapping online communities (BattleMode players - score for killin' opponents & Scrum players - think rugby in bouncy cartoon tanks), have provided countless hours of online enterainment far superior to what I found with any of my twelve and a half wives,(including Rollinda).

This game is my #1 favorite game since very long. And of *all* games I've *ever* played on *any* platform, it sure fits in well amongst the very finest ones!
ThinkTanks has a very simple plot; drive your tank around on a 3D textured map and try to shoot down other tanks, more often than you're being shot down yourself. As a result, your skill gets more sharpened and if all is going well you will climb the ladder in the hunt for higher scores.
Also, the game has a truly dedicated online community - www.planetthinktanks.com - that sports things such as leagues, armies, downloadable tank skins & textures and of course a frequently visited forum.
Although it's a quite simple and straightforward game, the technical aspect of ThinkTanks is most interesting and enjoyable. While playing the game for some hours you'll gather that there are plenty of techniques you could benefit from improving. It's not about driving-and-shooting-without-thinking, just like that. The steering, jumping, aiming, shooting intervals and tactical abilities are set on trial.
Once you master these attributes you will be glued for decades with this shining pearl of a game!
Deeply recommended!!
PS. If you try the game and play it online, you will recognize me by the nickname ¦w¦i¦z¦a¦r¦d¦. Please drop me a line or two in the integrated chat and I'll gladly talk to you.

The game is quite nice, but the registration procedure is not working for offline machines.
Their 'ignition' offline registration does not work at all and is a complete joke!
You have to fiddle with 2 different serial numbers AND download a file you have to copy inside the application package/bundle.
And even after this complicated procedure - still no go.
As this leaves me with the demo mode on my offline Mac I give it 1 star for feature (no offline registration), 1 star for playability (leaves me with demo timer) and 1 star for stability (does not work as supposed to).

Very nice. Fun. A really good download choice.
One problem with 1.1- Various objects (including the tanks) somtimes lose thier textures and appear white, then the textures come back. Wierd.

When I hit launch and it switches to my resolution(1440x900) it seems to not like it very much, doesn't look like it wants to work.

Very additive. Easy set up. Great online games. Join a Scrum League Team!
Ghost Squadron RULE!
I experienced the white textures too and thought it weird, but since then I have discovered why: The render engine think tanks uses is designed to automatically render textures as white to keep frame rates acceptable on slower machines. The white rendering problem does not occur on machines with more powerful graphics cards.
