What's New
Version 1.7:

Added preference options for output file name so that users can customized flexibly.

Changed JPEG output image quality settings from popup menu to slider control.

Cant say I really have any complaint about apples built in screen capture functions or much of a reason to try this. The QuickImage contextual menu offers easy enough access fo rme to convert the PDF into any format I want (Multiple JPEG options included), without the loss of converting something from a JPEG which I've never liked using off of the web anyway.

This has worked great for me under Jaguar. I esp. like the thumbnail saved on the icon and the ability to clip and save straight to JPEG. I passed over other free screen capture programs for these two features. (The auto dating in the file name is also a plus.)
Now I'm testing it under Panther.

I just love this. The sound of the camera shutter is cool and really fits the freeze frame. Now with photo shop and jpeg, I don't have to convert the image. Great!

The Command-Shift-O shortcut for calling up Preferences doesn't work for me in Panther... anyone else?

Great screenshot tool. Fills the void that is missing with the OSX built in tool.
