I don't know about the registered version but playing the demo is an awful experience. There are nag windows that stay open for roughly half a minute after every game. Most of the options don't work (e. g. no saus, supersaus, and only two types of solos one can play, no way to announce sth.) and from time to time, the application simply quits stating that the demo time has ended due to manipulation (that is clicking on "new deal" to start a new game for example - hell, if that is considered manipulation then I'm probably a software pirate!).
The interface is too complex, has no clear structure, and opens one window after another on startup instead of combining all options in one simple dialog-window.
Playing Doppelkopf is possible with this application, granted. It simply is no fun due to the fact that you cannot play it correctly because the demo lacks many of the official rules and the AI that often plays a bit clumsy (changing all oponent's "character" is not possible in demo mode).
Dear Developer, this is definitly not how you're going to get people registering your software. I played this demo for a few hours because Doppelkopf is my favorite card game and I had nobody to play with. Consider me sweet-tempered because I gave it one chance after another to persuade me to register - but it failed. I cannot recommend it because there are way too many flaws, bugs, UI inconsistencies and AI oddities.
