Latin Words is a dictionary that contains over 30,000 entries, as would be counted in an ordinary dictionary. This expands to almost twice that number of individual stems, and, through additional word construction with hundreds of prefixes and suffixes, may generate more, leading to many hundreds of thousands of 'words' that can be formed by declension and conjugation.
The BEST Latin dictionary for any platform! This program carried me through 4 years of high school Latin, and helps me as I continue to work on Latin projects and translations. Faster than a written dictionary, and gives all the principle parts/various definitions - without ever crashing! Highly recommended.

I shoud say this program desearves "magna cum laude" among educatonal tools for Latin. Of course it is not for real biginners, but mid-level beginners who has a certain knowledge of Latin. Teachers will be the happiest with the tool ex machina. It will be much better if it can indicate macrons, say by a combination of characters. This tool is my must! Thank you!

I have nothing but high regards for this program. Wonderful and very, very useful for anyone interested in getting at the definitions of Latin words quickly and efficiently. The best feature is its ability to parse the word to tell what conjugation or declension it is. Highly recommended to all classical studies students.
