Mac OS X blocks the ability of third-party programs to use the Command-Tab (Apple-Tab) keystroke as a hotkey. Instead that keystroke is reserved solely for switching applications from the Dock.
PullTab allows you to reclaim the Command-Tab and Command-Shift-Tab keystrokes from the Mac OS X Dock. The reclaimed keystrokes can then be used in other applications, including third-party application switchers.

Yes, how? I've been reading anti-APE sentiments for years. Not once - and I mean not once - in over 6 years of using this have I ever experienced a single problem. I would really like someone to specifically identify exactly what problems it supposedly causes. I'm not disputing the possibility, but I'm wondering how I've managed to be so fortunate in my experience with it.
APE has just been updated to work with Leopard, won't load PullTab. Will we get PullTab functionality in Leopard? I'm praying.

What I'd like is a way to restore the 10.2 cmd-tab switching in the dock behaviour to 10.3. I hate that stupid window.

Man... I'm glad this developer released this update... I spoke to them about it, and they stated they aren't even using their own creation any longer, but they keep it up to date for those who do. Much respect for that. Using this with Keyboard Maestro (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/6265) is quite nice.
