Was hoping this would work under Catalina - seems not. First FinderPop then FolderGlance now OpenMenu. No option to customise MacOS GUI and UX - boring Tim Cook GUI - Apple no better now than Big Brother in 1984 Super Bowl ad - no freedom of thought, no freedom of expression.

There are some few 'old apps' that I fear to not work anymore at any OS X upgrade because I tried -I swore, I TRIED!- to without or to find an alternative but no way: I'M ADDICTED! One of them is OpenMenu X (now 2.11, by the way, DEAR MacUpdate!!!!), another gem is Shovebox, then PTHPasteboard, FinderPop… and the list could be longer!

App persistently invokes Mac OS X internet download warning at system startup. Attempts to disable the warning via Terminal have not worked. Mac OSX 10.7.2 on a 2011 iMac. Any advice welcome.

I use this utility dozens and dozens of times a day, and it's been rock-solid since the Snow Leopard update. I find the especially useful in terms of customizing what Services I want right at hand in pop-up menus and what order and where they show up, and of course, you can launch docs/apps, and a dozen other useful things. Now, with the addition of the ability to copy files/folders, it's even more useful. I think Artman makes top-notch, well-supported software. (I also own and use Artman's Jedit X, and it's my workhorse text editor, and have had great support with it.) I highly recommend this utility, and if you're a Services fanatic like I am, you'll find it indispensable.

this app is perfect.. better than all suggested, works fine on SL you have to choose from the other two options hotkey or... i forget anyway, can be used well in SL. Folderglance is overpriced.

Comparing this to FruitMenu is simply inaccurate, a mistake. Folder Glance seems to have folded.

Just not having good luck with this at all. Don't want to "review" this because I may be missing something and I don't want to trash it, yet, but when I invoke the contextual menu from the finder, and go to launch something, it ALWAYS launches the wrong app, ALWAYS. AND, I want the contextual menus from the finder, I don't want to have to scroll down to "more". Big waste of time as far as I can see... I bought this thing to save me time...not a work-around for me...a real time waster. WHERES FRUITMENU?!?!!! please Unsanity! UPDATE FOR LEOPARD!!!

This is indeed the best OS-X version of Finderpop I've come across - it's great and I'll gladly plonk out my $10. For all of you saying that other apps do the same thing easier or cheaper - THEY DON'T. XMenu is fundamentally different in concept (being tied to the , FruitMenu causes conflicts all over the place with other software, and neither Launch Item nor Quick Access have the ability to work as a Contextual menu droplet for applescripts. Reply to Kelly, The Contextual Menu Workshop, does all what you say and it free! I use QuickAccessCM to launch Apps and goto foders, very good. But of course I'll try this one.

I've finally found my FinderPop replacement. I have tried ALL the others. This is the best launcher and file redirector for OS X. This is the ONLY one that can send folders/subfolders of files to various apps. My typical uses: -Launch Applications -Send a folder full of files to iView Media or to Toast to burn a CD -Open an Illustrator file in Illustrator 8 or 10, Photoshop, iView, email, FlightCheck, toast, dropstuff. It's also the easiest to use. It may be missing some features of other programs most notably the ability to move a file into a folder. But what it does it does well. Try it.

Lots of contextual menu modules provide identical functions. For the same price I recommand FruitMenu or Launch Item. Both of them offer even more features.
