iWannaSleep is a timer application. You can set a countdown, after which iTunes is stopped or your computer is shut down or put to sleep. You can even specify a custom AppleScript to be executed when the countdown has reached zero.
Especially useful for having iTunes play some soft music before going to bed. If you don't want to switch off your computer manually (or you fell asleep already), it's good to know that "iWannaSleep" will care about that.

Version 1.2: Release notes were unavailable when this listing was updated.
Requirements
PPC / Intel, Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later
I m a bit late with responding, but the German localization and a quirk with remembering window positions has been fixed like a day afte the release of v1.2! Hope you have noticed it already... :)
Unfortunatelly I have no clue... I have developed iWannaSleep and use it on a PowerMac G5 (that is PPC) and also ran it on ma MacBook (Intel) without ever experiencing a crash... Can you provide details about your machine“s configuration (Email me)?

Great app, I often use it. It would be good to have a more silent sound to be played instead of this noise (maybe as an option).

Perfect; It does its job flawlessly! I use it all the time - very simple interface. I open the program and forget about it; it stops iTunes after a certain amount of time then automatically quits itself.
1. Alert dialog when quitting manually or automatically.
2. Displays "Error" when launching the application saying that the selected AppleScript file, which was used in the previous session, being suddenly invalid and then crashhhh. Happens with both - text and compiled scripts which have the correct extensions. iMac Intel 10.4.11
It seems this happens if the script file is moved to another location after quitting the application. Instead of showing this error, the application should ask for the file.

Do it still works with Lion ?
+5
So I'll stay with the "old" ppc version, which always worked well for me too and is localized.
Beside of my "complain" this is a really great and elegant app. I never found something I like more for this purpose...
