FFusion (formerly ffmpeg DivX) is an alternative open source DivX Codec. Can play DivX 1 (aka MS-MPEG4v1), DivX 2 (aka MS-MPEG4v2), DivX 3.11 alpha, DivX 4 (aka OpenDivX), DivX 5 and XVID. Based on ffmpeg libavcodec 0.4.6.

It crash DVD Pro Studio. I think this happen in Template windows, when it going to read all available video and recognising the video format.

Great codec, plays some files (.avi Xvid) that codec DivX and 3ivX didn't manage. Use it with the others codecs, with these 3 codecs you can read everything in QuickTime
An advise, use diablotin http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/8975 to manage your codecs (activate/desactivate).

did u still have ur old codec in cos that mite stuff it up

It didn't work with a simple divx movie
