To suggest an alternate: The free SkalMac Tuner is a great, easier to use, intuative standard tuner.

This has far more non-standard tuning options, but for someone like me, who simply wants an easy way to tune their guitar I find it clunky and annoying.

But I'm not a high-end musician, and I don't generally need non-standard tuning. Based on some comments here. it's clearly a boon for the right person. But for many it will be overkill.

I find it a little odd that v2 is written in Flash. Not that it doesn't work fine that way.

Still, I would like a volume control, as some instruments are just louder than others, and a one decibel fits all approach just doesn't work every time.

I'm a propfessional musician, and I have been using the previous version for a long time. It always worked fine, and I like it a lot better than some tuners that you actually have to pay for.
This version is even better, so the least I can do is to give my heart-felt THANK YOU, GUYS, to the developers.

Worked fine for me. Does what it is designed to do, didn't crash and hey, it's free! Only thing was, the notes were extremely quiet so I had to turn the volume quite high. Other than that, it's fine.

I like it! It's simple to use and I've never had it crash. I'd like to see a setting for DADGAD, though.

Not very good. There are much better tuners out there, this one crashes and doesn't work well.

Would you mind submitting a bug report if your program crashes? Thanks.

I downloaded and installed a fresh copy and it now works fine. Of course, the tiny speaker on the computer can't really do justice to the lower two strings. My first copy of the program came from the Mac Addict disk and the second was downloaded from this site.

I installed it and used it and then the sound started to get fuzzier & fuzzier and now it produces no sound. I thought it must have blown out the speaker on my G4 Mac but the speaker seems to be fine for other sounds. I'm going to try installing a fresh doiwnload of the program. Could it be that I have blown out selected frequencies on my speaker?
