Awesome. great little app. The search box is a really nice touch too.

But uou know what it's missing though ? So obvious...

double click the icon and let it take you there...to the top level of the site so even if 20 urls at somedomain.com share the same favicon with urls like http://somedomain.com/search/special?s=blah

just let it take you to http://somedomain.com/

that would make it perfect !!!

This is really a good idea! There's one little problem though. Some sites don't store the favicon in this exact same way, because there is a way to manually specify a location using a special tag. I think the best thing to do would be to cut off the favicon.ico (or whatever) from the URL and use that as the location, rather than the root of the site every time. So http://www.apple.com/blah/favicon.ico would be http://www.apple.com/blah/. I'll look into that for the next release. Wonderful idea!

This app is massively helpful to me when trying to sort out favicons for my sites, much better than relying on safari's "Clear Cache" option.

Also nice to see the icons as a visual reminder of where I've been browsing.

A good app.

Handy little app for web developers who need to clear out old favicons in order to test their recent creations.
The recent update is much better.
Thanks a lot!

Yep it's useless. Doesn't do a damn thing except it lets me see the icons.

(From the author) Safari Icon Manager does not work with Safari v73. I'll try to fix it as soon as possible.
