Without having this App, when you get an email regarding an event, hover your mouse cursor over the date, you will see an arrow to the right, click on it and from the list and chose Create an iCal event. When the window opens, you can edit the information before saving.

I'd love to use Mail2iCal but not being a geek I have no idea how. The site has no instructions.

I've hacked Outlook / Exchange Meeting Request support into Mail2iCal. I've sent my changes to the developer, but in the meantime, see here:

Using Mail 1.3.3 and 1.5.2 on Mac OS X.3.2 (French)
The mail2ical operation just export the address of the sender and the subject into the event field.
Other fields are empty.
Tipically I would like to get the body into the notes field.

obviously apple changed the old "mac.com" to "me.com" some time ago...
so hopefully, someone will update the link someday...
