Logorrhea is your one-stop solution for iChat log browsing and searching. iChat can be configured to log all messages sent and received, which is all fine and good - until you need to actually find a specific conversation that is. Enter Logorrhea.
What's New
Version 1.3.1:
Improved international support, again
Built as Universal Binary
Requirements
PPC / Intel, Mac OS X 10.2 or later.
Be the first to recommend a similar software title.
I use it a lot. It is quick and simple to reference iChats. I use these IMs a lot, and often need to refer to something I said or was told.
And it is easy to delete chats and buddies. Just Reveal in Finder and delete the little chat file. Then the chat disappears from the window in Logorrhea.
Testing v 1.3.1 on Leopard 10.5.6, very happy with it - fast and does what is needed.

Logorrhea works fine but I still prefer ChatMaster.

Work great! But I was hoping to be able to save the embed objects that are saved in the chats. I really would like to see that added as a feature. Still gets a 5 though. I used to use the terminal to do this before. "grep -rHinE 'my regExp patern here' path/to/iChat/logs/here" this is much GUIer. Thanks

Copying isn't illegal. Right click on any file in Finder. "Copy" is right there in your context menu.
You should use it sometime. It's very handy. And for a real thrill, try using "cp" from the terminal.

It is actually quite possible that it is illegal, but there are many programs that incorporate Apple icons into their own icon, and I think it is clear at this point that Apple doesn't really care.
This is a superb application, and one which should be on everyone's hard drive. It's small, fast and nimble, and is essential for anyone using iChat for business. Browsing chats is excellent, but the ability to search through them is little short of genius. Top, top work.

I was testing out this app after i downloaded it, and shortly after I had some very bad diarrhea. Then I got a Kernal Panic and couldnt reboot the mac without reinstalling jaguar. What a great app guys. I would never waste my money on this when I could easily go to the store and buy cheaper, more efficient laxatives. What a piece of crap, pardon the pun. Thanks for all the bad reviews, keep up the horrible work.
