Descender is a Tetris-like game that features fluidly moving pieces, polished 16-bit graphics, and a professionally recorded surf-rock soundtrack. It also comes complete with a 2-player battle mode, if you're up for some fierce block-crunching competition with your friends.
Great game and really excellent support. Highly recommended.

Yes!
That was/is coolest Tetris-game ever!
Can't the guys who did it make it again for OS X?
They don't have to have Tetris in the name (I heard it was something like that that made them stop).

I love it!! The only thing I miss about the old tetris I used to use is the bonus for clearing the screen entirely. It's an awesome game. I have searched for a long time to find a tetris type game this good. Thank yoU!!

anonymous here again:
mark, you are absolutely right!
amazed i missed the options - i think i was looking in the menu bar at the top of the screen where such things usually are and never saw it right in front of me.
The options provided are just what i wanted! - now i need to find a Descender adict support group.
New assessment: Descender rules!
Wacky implememtation of Tetris. The music drove me nuts (I think it can be shut off, but who cares?). Not as much fun as Quinn.

Anonymous, there is a user option to turn off the background graphics, as well as keyboard options to set keys for you and second player. Additionally, Descender has buttons for clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation. Thanks for your support, but next time, Options screen first :).

This is a well polished version of Tetris. High quality music and creative graphics.
Zero bugs found! Am much enjoying it.
Complaints (suggestions?):
Graphics often interfere with the player's ability to see the pieces. In the playing area, it should use "washed out" graphics or simply not show graphics - at least as a user option.
Does not allow the user to select keyboard options for game control. My Apple keyboard has tiny half-size arrow keys, and controlling the pieces with these tiny keys is not good. Problem if you are left handed also (with my keyboard).
Does not allow both clockwise and counter-clockwise piece rotation.
The sound and graphics are so cool that it makes me hungry for more - that I could choose between? Well, I AM probably asking for too much here.
Overall, I recommend it.
