By the way.. If you need any help with getting WFA going or any ?'s... feel free to come to irc server irc.enterthegame.com and go to # macintosh, #clan-cdi or #wfa. I'm usually in at least 2 of those #'s and if not me I'm sure someone can help you too :P Gogogogogo let's see some mac peeps in the WFA pub servers heheheh Good luck,

I downloaded the wfa engine and the two map packs. i have the newest version of quake 3. i literally have no idea how to install it. any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

This is a pretty cool mod for quake3. I say 'pretty cool' because it is but a weak shell of it's former existance. However, after you spent countless hours setting up config files for all nine of the classes match action can be somewhat exciting.

If you do decide to download this mod then you should proceed over to http://forums.planetice.net This is where most of the WFA drama goes down.

This is an awesome mod for kids and adults.

WFA has revolutionized the quake 3 mod world, by adding many new features to it: 9 different classes, new graphics only available in WFA, and a great community.

Great mod. 9 classes with different strengths and weaknesses. Strategy and fast game play. The only trying part is getting your cfg's set. Check out http://www.wfa.us

Best damn mod i have ever played. more levels of intricacy than i have seen out of any other mod. its like othello, a minuet to learn but a life time to master.

This mod owns. The strategy of the class-based mods, and the speed of vanilla quake 3, all rolled into an attractive package with lush maps and gorgeous effects.

The down side? Easy to play (via in-game menus), hard to master and set up the binds. The pros in this one can use RJs and grapple like i've never seen.

a very fun class based CTF mod. Having 9 different classes makes sure the mod is never boring.
