The second worst of this is that I contacted 3ivx in EVERY way I was possible: the last "company" page, the forums, and two of their senior administrators. I didn't even get an email acknowledging my problem.
So I then started trying to communicate with the bankers who handled the transaction (I use the word loosely: TRANSaction implies that there was something provided by each side to TRANSfer). They have ignored my emailss well - not dismissing them, nor discrediting them, just plain not bothering to respond.
I WARN ANYBODY THINKING OF DOING BUSINESS WITH THESE THIEVES. IT'S A CERTAINTY THAT THEY'LL TAKE/STEAL YOUR MONEY, BUT A COIN-TOSS WHETHER THEY'LL EVER PROVIDE YOU WITH THE PRODUCT YOU 'PURCHASED'.
...and, in the meantime, if you've used Divx --or the sample 3ivx-- you risk having every movie clip PERMANENTLY branded with a 3ivx stamp which is irremovable.
I advise everyone against this software. It looks so promising - and even performs well - but hear my experience of 3ivx and WORLDPAY stealing my money, and the inability built into 3ivx's site giving you NO access to any direct support whatsoever!

I'll stick to VLC and the QT divx5.component, as every decoders decodes their OWN format.
